- 4 oz frozen bananas
- 4 oz frozen pears (peeled and sliced)
- 3/4 cup white grape juice
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp oats
Add frozen bananas, pears, juice, and milk to the blender. Blend on high for a minute or until smooth.
Add oats and blend on medium for a few more seconds.
Pour into two glasses, serve, and enjoy!
- I bought fresh bananas and pears, which I then froze for this recipe. The frozen fruit will yield the best texture. Make sure to peel the pears so you don't end up with gritty pear peels in the smoothie.
- If you are gluten free, look closely at the label of the oats you choose. I use Trader Joe's rolled oats, which are gluten free.
- If you can't have dairy, try substituting almond milk or your favorite dairy-free milk.
- I decided not to add the oats on the first blend so they don't get too gritty. You can even just stir them in afterward and not blend them at all depending on your preference.
